Florence and Bill Another Hill
A story of adventure, with Florence the rabbit and Bill the dog, two best friends find their courage and their way back home.
Local author, Joanne Howson, has donated copies of her first children’s story book ‘Florence and Bill Another Hill’ to Best Futures School pupils.
Joanne has created the story book herself, with interesting and artistic digital illustrations, created from photographs of the local areas. The donation of these books to our school has been made possible through the kind and generous sponsorship of PG3 Solutions and their support is greatly appreciated.
The pupils will be using the story books as part of an adventure of their own, through the North East Lincolnshire countryside, with a picnic, and exploring the scenery from the book itself.
Our pupils will also have the opportunity to take photographs of the local area to use in their own digital illustrations and photo editing for writing their own story. The pupils then have the opportunity to take their copy of ‘Florence and Bill Another Hill’ home with them to read with their family.
