Activity Blog Week Ten
Need some indoor activity inspiration? You’ve come to the right place.
Our first activity is one we’ve featured before, but it’s just so good, we thought we’d share it again! Chocolate Brownies. What could be better on a rainy day, than a tasty chocolatey treat for pudding! Here’s the ingredients you’ll need and recipe:
The next activity is listening to a talk from the Duchess of Cambridge about Kindness. The talk is from a fantastic website collective called Oak National Academy, and it’s brilliant! Listen to the Kindness Assembly here: https://classroom.thenational.academy/assemblies/kindness
What acts of kindness have you seen during lockdown? How do acts of kindness make you feel?
Here's a few acts of kindness from our pupils and staff, and make us feel so happy.
Our next activity is a Super Hero Activity from the brilliant Oak National Academy, it’s aimed at Year 6 pupils, but we think everyone could have a go! “Learn how to write a speech, persuading students across the nation to consider a career in the NHS or as a key worker” What an inspirational activity. We can’t wait to see how you get on, and if you enjoyed being prime minister for the day, tell us all about it! https://classroom.thenational.academy/lessons/do-you-want-to-be-a-hero-0ccf91/activities/2
We hope this inspires you to have a look at some more of their lessons, and motivated into learning, get those amazing brains working, you can always cosy up with a film, blanket, and some snacks later!
We hope you have fun having a go at some of these activities, remember, to always ask a parent or carer before going on the internet, and be Internet Wise. Check out https://www.thinkuknow.co.uk/ for more information on being safe on the internet.
