The Grimsby Fishing Heritage centre invited local schools to take part in its current temporary exhibition Rambles in Lincolnshire, which is a unique display of 100 original railway posters promoting tourism in Lincolnshire.
Best Futures, alongside William Barcroft Junior School, Healing Primary Academy, St Mary’s Catholic Primary Academy and Havelock Academy have created a range of displays for the exhibition, in fact the schools have responded so enthusiastically that the Centre ran out of wall space, with some of their submissions now on view in albums and in rotation on a screen. The Café Gallery, and the Muriel Barker Gallery where the main exhibition is located, are both free entry.
Best Futures pupils’ fantastic work on railway poster designs is displayed in the Heritage Centre Art Gallery until 4th May 2025.
Pupils visited the Fishing Heritage Centre in March to view the exhibition and enjoyed seeing their creations in the display.
